SECTIONAL PLAYOFF GAMES
The Varsity Boy' Soccer team will be playing a sectional playoff game this Wednesday, October 24th, at Tonawanda against Lafayette. Game time is 5:00 p.m. Admission is $5.
The Varsity Football team will be playing a sectional playoff game this Friday, October 26th, at home against Wilson. Game time is 7:00 p.m. Admission is $5.

MANDATORY WINTER ATHLETICS MEETING
Southwestern Central School District is hosting a mandatory meeting for all parents and athletes participating in a Winter 2018 sport on Monday, October 22nd at 6:00 p.m. in the High School Auditorium. The meeting will consist of information on academic eligibility and attendance policies, parent/fan conduct at contests, and concussion management. Also, sport and other district forms will be available for completion. These forms are required prior to the start of practice on November 5th. PARENTS AND ATHELTES WHO ATTENDED THE FALL SPORTS MEETING IN AUGUST DO NOT NEED TO ATTEND THE WINTER SPORTS MEETING. If you have any questions please contact Kevin Salisbury at 484-6840.
Southwestern Elementary School's pool is closed until further notice due to an unforeseen construction issue. The district will provide notice on the website, social media sites, exterior display signs, and building announcements once the pool is reopen. School tax bills have been mailed to Southwestern district residents.
Residents may pay their school tax bills from Aug. 31, 2018, through Oct. 31, 2018 by mail: Southwestern CSD Tax Collector, PO Box 1289, Buffalo NY 14240-1289; in person* at Community Bank N.A., 1 W. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, NY 14750 or pay your tax bill online with credit card, debit card or EFT here. PLEASE NOTE: THIRD-PARTY ADMINISTRATOR FEES WILL APPLY TO THOSE PAYING ONLINE. ALL OF THIS INFORMATION IS ALSO LISTED ON THE BACK OF YOUR SCHOOL TAX BILL. A PARCEL ID IS REQUESTED WITH PAYMENT. THIS IS ALSO REFERRED TO AS A TAX MAP NUMBER OR AN S/B/L NUMBER.

Please be advised that CAYSEA Contracting Corp. (NYSDOL Asbestos Handling License #59441) shall be performing asbestos abatement activities at Southwestern High School located at 600 Hunt Road, Jamestown, NY 14701 from April 2, 2018 to April 1, 2019. All asbestos abatement areas shall be demarcated via asbestos warning signs and barrier tape.
