The fund raising events you see listed here are a fun way to help raise the money needed to fulfill goals of the SSEF. These goals focus on enriching the educational experience for the students of Southwestern Schools and recognizing and rewarding exceptional achievement of students and staff.

2016 Gran Fondo Cycling Event Fundraiser
The SSEF is proud to be chosen as one of the benefactors of the Grand Fondo Bike tour set for August 27th, 2016. We encourage all previous riders and sponsors to be a part of this fantastic event which highlights various attractions around our region as well as offering live music, great food and a great ride.
Southwestern Schools Education Foundation is the 2016 Education Benefactor
With four years’ experience in organizing our own successful Bike Tour around Chautauqua Lake, the Foundation is a vital benefactor for the growth and success of the 2016 Chautauqua Gran Fondo event.
- The Chautauqua Gran Fondo is an event designed for participants of all ages and skill levels to celebrate Chautauqua Lake and the surrounding historic destinations.
- The event builds on the growing cycling trend
- Outreach will extend through the Tri-State area including Buffalo, Erie, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Rochester and surrounding areas
2015 Bike Tour
The 4th annual Cycle Chautauqua Bike Tour will take place on Saturday July 18, 2015. Cyclists of all ages are encouraged to take part as the tour takes you around our beautiful lake or across the lake via the Stow Ferry if a shorter route suits your ability. All proceeds will benefit the students, teachers, educational and extra curricular PROGRAMS of Southwestern Central School. The cost is $25.00 per rider and includes a ticket for our chinese auction items and a light lunch after the tour. Additional chinese auction tickets can also be purchased.
