Southwestern Shines at Fredonia 2026 Shark Tank Competition

Students from Southwestern Central School District had an incredible experience at the Fredonia 2026 Shark Tank

Competition held on March 12.

Under the guidance of Mrs. Carlson in her JCC Entrepreneurship and Innovation class, students showcased creativity, confidence, and entrepreneurial spirit. From developing their business ideas to presenting to the judges, Southwestern students represented the district with professionalism and innovation.

Gage Beish-White and Charlotte Beaver of Team Sandcreen earned an Honorable Mention, competing against 11 teams from schools across Western New York. Robert McNinch and Aiden Guzman presented Team TideTag, while Ryleigh Nelson, Madi Burnett, and Lucas Genareo showcased Team AQ Watch.

“This competition highlighted our students’ creativity, teamwork, and dedication,” said Mrs. Carlson. “We are proud of every student for their hard work and the inspiration they brought to the event.”
