Southwestern Middle School is pleased to announce its Students of the Month for November 2023. Congratulations to sixth-grader Gabriella Bango and seventh-grader Sarah Sigler and eighth-grader Larissa Raak.

Sixth-grader Gabriella Bango’s favorite subject in school is math.  Gabriella belongs to the Southwestern Student Council and plans to join the Southwestern Swim team in the future.  Outside of school, she is part of a rock-climbing team and is also a member of the Star Swimming team. Gabriella enjoys rock climbing and swimming in her spare time, too! Gabriella is the daughter of Kristyn and Brandon Bango.

Seventh-grader Sarah Sigler’s favorite subjects in school are math and band.  Sarah plays on the Southwestern Softball team and belongs to Southwestern Student Council.  When she is not at school, she enjoys playing softball and cooking.  Sarah also loves to play the trumpet, piano, and guitar. Sarah is the daughter of Jamie and Rob Sigler. 

Eighth-grader Larissa Raak’s favorite subject in school is social studies. Larissa plans to join the Southwestern Track and Field team. Outside of school she likes to go on walks, ice skate and read fantasy books, such as the Harry Potter series!  Larissa also has a dog and cat and enjoys spending time with them. Larissa is the daughter of Matthew Raak.
