  • SWES STEAM Integrator Wins NYSCATE Grant

    Shannon Sauder was awarded $1,944.84 for her NYSCATE grant submission, “Rethinking the Elementary Sandbox with Augmented Reality.” She used the funds to purchase parts to build the Augmented Reality Sandbox in the MakerSpace.

    Southwestern Middle School released the honor roll and merit roll for the first-quarter marking period of the 2019-2020 academic year. Dozens of students in sixth grade, seventh grade and eighth grade earned spots on the rolls. Congratulations to all those who ranked.

  • Caulcrick Resigns as Football Coach, Accepts Position with NFL/Xenith

    His final day as head football coach at SWCS is Friday, Oct. 4, 2019, for the Trojans’ homecoming game against Lackawanna. Coach Jake Burkholder will serve as interim head football coach with a full search to be conducted after the end of the 2019 season.

    Southwestern Central School District 's 2019-2020 budget passed, with voters approving it 286-106 on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. Mr. Correy Miller was re-elected to the Board of Education. The district is grateful to all those who exercised their right to vote.
