Southwestern Middle School is pleased to introduce its Students of the Month for May 2022. Congratulations to sixth-grader Ava Laury, seventh-grader Charlotte Rovegno and eighth-grader Angelina Teator.

 Sixth-grader Ava Laury’s favorite subjects are English Language Arts and Social Studies. Outside of school, Ava does ballet, pointe and contemporary dance with Libby Nord at Studio Dance Conservatory.   She also likes to camp, ride a 4-wheeler, and spend time with her family and friends. Ava is the daughter of Lindsay and Ryan Sadowski of Frewsburg and Andrew Laury of Lakewood.

Seventh-grader Charlotte Rovegno’s favorite subject is art because she can express herself and help others. Charlotte is a member of Southwestern Jr. Honor Society and choir. Outside of school, she volunteers at the Audubon Community Nature Center and likes to do crafts, watch older movies with her family, go swimming, listen to music, and hang out with friends. Charlotte is the daughter of Brian and Leigh Rovegno of Lakewood.

Eighth-grader Angelina Teator’s favorite subjects are science and art.  Angelina belongs to Southwestern Band and Sewing Club. Outside of school, she volunteers at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. She also likes to ride her bike, run, and enjoy nature. Angelina is the daughter of Jamie Smeragliuolo of Lakewood and Alan Teator of Kansas.
