Southwestern Middle School is pleased to introduce its Students of the Month for October 2022. Congratulations to sixth-grader Parker Sauder, seventh-grader Annalisa Krug and eighth-grader Elise Kartesz.

Sixth-grader Parker Sauder’s favorite subjects are math and science.  Parker plays on Southwestern JV Midget Football team and is a member of the Southwestern choir and Quiz Bowl team.  Outside of school, Parker plays on Storm Travel Soccer team and attends First Lutheran Church. He likes to play football, soccer and basketball.   He also likes to camp, travel with family to see new places. Parker is the son of Lakewood resident Shannon Sauder and the late Jayme Sauder.

Seventh-grader Annalisa Krug’s favorite subjects are art, science, music, band and orchestra.  She participates on Southwestern Varsity Girls Swimming & Diving team.  Outside of school, she is a member of Jamestown Figure Skating Club, Star Swimming and YMCA Tennis. She also likes to make artwork, practice piano, take classes at Infinity, and learn foreign languages. Annalisa is the daughter of Jamestown residents Max and Galina Krug.

Eighth-grader Elise Kartesz’s favorite subjects are science, gym and art. Elise plays on Southwestern JV Volleyball and Softball teams and is a member of Student Council, Junior Honor Society, Ski Club, Impact, band, and choir. Outside of school, she participates in Jamestown Skating Club and Bemus Point United Methodist Youth Group.  She also likes to hang out with friends, deer hunt, and figure skate. Elise is the daughter of Lakewood residents Kevin and Kara Kartesz.
