SWMS Names Top Trojans for February 2024

Southwestern Middle School is pleased to announce its Students of the Month for February 2024. Congratulations to sixth-grader Noah Lindell, seventh-grader Braelynn Dykstra and eighth-grader Cameron Case.

Sixth-grader Noah Lindell’s favorite subject in school is gym. He plays on the Southwestern Little League baseball team. Noah also belongs to the Gladiators and plays on the Upwards basketball team. Outside of school, he likes to play sports. Noah is the son of Gretchen and Jared Lindell.

Seventh-grader Braelynn Dykstra’s favorite subjects in school are gym and art.  She plays on the Southwestern soccer, basketball, and track teams.  Braelynn is a part of the Southwestern Middle School Student Council.  Outside of school, she plays for the Lady Jr. Erie Otters hockey team. In her free time, Braelynn enjoys playing sports, listening to music, and doing art projects. Braelynn is the daughter of Meaghan and Andrew Dykstra.

Eighth-grader Cameron Case’s favorite subjects in school are English Language Arts and Social Studies. She plays on the modified volleyball and JV softball teams at Southwestern CSD. Cameron also appeared in the 2024 high school musical, “The Descendants,” and plays in the band and choir. Outside of school, she is in the gymnastics program for the Lakewood STARZ.  In her free time, Cameron likes to read, hang out with friends, do gymnastics, spend time with her family, and listen to Harry Styles. Cameron is the daughter of Corrine and Christopher Case.
